ABOVE: One their actual birthday, we celebrated with cupcakes and gifts at home quietly on a school night. Again, I cannot believe these guys are FOUR. Big kids. They are doing great. We had a joint bday party inviting girls over for a princess party per Nora's preference, and boys over for a spiderman party per Ryan's preference. None of the girls could make it though, so we mostly skipped the princess-y activities and did spidey related things. Nora didn't seem to mind, but I still feel like I should invite her little girlfriends over for a tea party or something. She did get very sad after the party when she realized she never put on her princess gown as she was hoping to do.
On party day, we made a spidey craft...
Had cake and snacks...
Opened gifts...
And then we went down to the basement to shoot spider webs (silly string)!
There were only 3 friends, but it was perfect. Nora and Ryan had a great time.
